Marvel at its impressive defences, explore its construction, re-modelling and decline, and muse over its place in Arthurian legend whilst enjoying the spectacular views across Strathmore.

Grade of walk: Medium – Suitable for people with at least average fitness and some country walking experience, including 12 – 16 year olds with accompanying adult. Approx. 1.5km with steep sections across open grazed hillside.
