Getting to Alyth
Alyth is close to both Perth (40mins) and Dundee (30 mins), and we have great links to Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow too.
Getting here is easy:
By Train, Coach or Bus
You can travel to Perth or Dundee by train or coach and then take the bus (number 57, 57X) to Blairgowrie and Alyth. There is also now an electric bus service, Ember, from Edinburgh to Dundee via Perth.
There is also a bus service 128 operating between Kirriemuir and Alyth.

By Bicycle
There are some fantastic bicycle routes to and from Alyth.
Alyth is part of the Strathmore Cycle Network, a project to develop a series of dedicated cycle tracks connecting three local towns via country lanes and specially-built paths avoiding main roads. Additionally more routes are described on the Cataran Ecomuseum website including the Kitty Swanson’s family route.
By Car
Alyth lies just north of the junction of the A926 (connecting Blairgowrie and Kirriemuir) and the B954 (connecting Dundee and Glenisla).
